So I just finished my first season on NCAA 08...

and there were some interesting things happening in the season.

Ben Tate was a monster and won the heisman (I started my first year on all american, I'll move up next season).

Also, the 2004 senario played out again. Auburn was undefeated and third in the polls. I beat Tenn in the SECCG and got left out of the MNC. Wisconsin and Texas went to the Championship game and Auburn, once again settled for Va Tech in the Sugar Bowl. I thought that was pretty strange. Basically the same game, with some tweaks.

Something strange happened to me.. Lester goes down with an injury in the 6th game of the season with about 1000 yards and 7 TD"s or something like that... Tate comes in and finishes off the season with 1000 yards and 9 TD's... Lester leaves for the NFL... Tate is looking at the starting job with very little competition and transfers to UAB... ?? wha?

Auburn has won 13 National Championships, Undefeated 14 years in a row. 5 years ago I took over a 1* program out of the MWC, the New Mexico Lobos (aka Brian Urlacher's University) are now a 5* program and knockin' heads in the Big 12. Auburn has played New Mexico the last 2 years for the MNC... I sim the NC game, and until NM becomes an Elite program, I'll have AU win the game. In my first year I took over alabama, moved Everyone to Punter, then Cut 'em all except for Andre Smith, I put him at QB. The rest of the team was All Walk-ons. They have yet to recover, after 14 years they are only a 2* program.....Bwaaahhhaaa.
