Head Coach Tommy Tuberville's Press Conference Text Link

Nice to hear good things about our players from our coach...TT likes the attitude of our WRs Dunn & Carr..Looks like Byrum is going to be a key in our kicking game..

War Eagle!!!

That's the first time I'd actually seen the "AuburnVersus" site. Pretty cool. Enjoyed watching the videos.

I was impressed with Groves and Dunlap the most. You could tell listening to Tray, that he's still young and excitable, but humbled after his "issues".

Good post!

I found it interesting that Tommy Trott will be playing a Fullback roll sometimes.

I know the coaching staff knows what to do (and I'm not critiquing), but it's tough to see athletic talent like Tristan Davis (and maybe Mario Fannin) not used much. Maybe they will return kicks? Sounds like James Swinton could fit in that roll as well with his "great open speed."

With a young inexperienced O-line, however, I can see them wanting a little more blocking power in the backfield on occasion. Probably not a bad idea!

Play action in the flats on third and three. Trott has good hands and protects the ball.

Fannin and Davis may fumble too much for the coaches. We have to protect the ball on offense. That's the first priority. Wishbone or power-I.

6-4 and 254 (last year's weight) coming at ya. Watch out

I say bring back the wishbone (for a play or two)

That's the first thing I thought when I read that - play action for an easy 5 yards every time. he's got great hands.

The Titans did this for several seasons with Frank Wycheck. Give a defense another thing to worry about. Normally, fullbacks are there just to lead block. Some are pretty good receivers, but almost no fullback will be as good as a TE. But a TE can frequently block just as good as any fullback.
