As if I didn't hate Pepsi enough

Recommended Posts

The Pepsi Max "yawning" commercial is BEYOND annoying. This makes me NOT want to buy their product. I hate hate hate hate hate that commercial. Hate it.

Not only do I have to hear all these neaderthals yawn without covering their mouth, I have to hear big ol' gulping noises...then that stupid scream at the end.

UGH. Someone put Pepsi people, Hardee's people, and Kia people in the same room...and fill it with some Carbon Monoxide please.

I absolutely hate that commercial. No love for Pepsi, either.

I know the idea is to make something that people remember. But if you make a commercial so terrible that it makes my physically ANGRY...it will make me avoid your product.

And pepsi does suck. It's all syrupy/sugary. No bite.

Haven't seen the commercial. But, I gotta' admit to draining about 147,000 Diet Pepsi's. I've been drinking Diet Pepsi's and Diet Cokes for so long, either of the leaded versions tastes like Mrs. Butterworth's.

I saw this commercial tonight and I too thought it was over the top and annoying. Pepsi does indeed suck and Dr. Pepper and Coke are much better. Diet drinks as a whole are foul and must be flushed down the commode pronto.

I don't drink soft drinks much, but my wife was hooked on Diet Mt. Dew Code Red prior to the pregnancy. It's not a bad diet drink. Chock full of caffeine, too. That being said, I'll take a Coke over any other coke and Sweet Tea over absolutely any non-bourbon drink.

I don't drink much soda. Maybe one a week. But I do like going a long time without one, and getting that strong biting McDonald's coke.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no better drink on God's earth that Sweet Tea.

Pepsi does seem to be the better choice the morning after a long night out. But mostly Coke products taste better. But do try that cold can of Pepsi in the AM to help with the hangover.

Good to know, Otis.

Check yourself, Aunt Bee.

I much prefer Blue Powerade after a night of a few too many.

I love how you divide the world into bourbon and non-bourbon. :roflol:

Well, living with you in the family will drive anyone to drinking.

There is never a time when Coke is better than sweet tea in my opinion, but there are times when a nice Maker's Mark trumps everything. You know...football games in November, after a hard day at work, anytime you're in the same room... :poke:

for what ever reason mcdonald's serves a tasty coke especially with lots of ice.

And he's probably in the room being a beer snob too.

Nothin' wrong with being a beer snob...life's too short to drink s****y beer.

'course, I drink very seldom these days, so when I do, it's something decent (Newcastle Brown Ale, which, I know, is technically not a beer, but that's for another thread...)

Back on point, Pepsi sucks.

My wife and I have really gotten hooked on the Lipton Citrus Green Tea. Doesn't have that funky herbal flavor of the Sobe stuff. Even the diet green tea is pretty good.

And Newcastle Brown is a step in the right direction, but I try to avoid imports in clear or green bottles, they get light struck way too easily.

Now this is a beer! But if you're in Alabama you'll have to make a foray into Tennessee to get it.

Yeah, if by snob you mean, "Refuses To Drink Canned Piss."

As they say, I drink Sam Adams and piss Bud Light.

Don't put so much pressure on yourself to be as good as me. Just be the best MDM4AU you can be and be content with that.

Anyone who likes a good Maker's Mark has to have at least some redeeming qualities.

He does have redeeming qualities. Taste in beer just isn't among them. He prefers his beer sans taste.

He can grill a mean steak though.

It's true. I've personally seen the man drinking Coors Light, which is the Dasani of beers.

Pepsi sucks, btw.

How is Coors Light like sex in a canoe?
