I been lurking around over there for the past few days and these guys are mature and knowledgeable about their Bulls over that way. I went ahead and let them know about aunation.net, so if we get a couple of them visiting over here, i'm sure we'd have some good discussions. So go check them out!

I cannot wait for this game, I'm leaving Tampa for Auburn Friday right after classes and plan on meeting my Auburn Father-in-law in Columbus before the game on Saturday.

This is much more than a game, it's life time (or until we play again) bragging rights for me vs. my new family. My wife is from Baldwin County where the rest of her AU family still lives. I'll naturally be upset if the Bulls lose but realize that Jordan Hare is a scary place to wear any color other than orange. Logic tells me that we're going to lose but blind squirrels are know to find nuts.

We expect 3,000 fans and our full marching band, Herd of Thunder in Auburn on Sept. 8th!!

For those of you that know, our QB, Grothe has been known to haunt opposing teams and our defense WILL be able to hang with you guys. I think the game will come down to the forth quarter and could be decided by 7 pts or less. I know many AU fans may laugh at that but WV hadn't lost at home since 2003 and we seemed to do okay that game last year.

We're a very young program looking for a break out year. I not only encourage you all to ask us questions but to all visit our most popular fan board TheBullsPen.com and contribute.

It's not just Grothe we need to worry about... they have plenty of team speed. Their receivers are fast... our secondary will be tested. Their D is quick also, and their O-line is pretty good at pass blocking. If any AU faithful are assuming this won't be a war, they're delusional.

I wish I could, but I am a Bulls fan in Arizona...I used to live in Tampa so I try to make my "road games" home games to see family and friends...going to WVU and UNC games at Tampa.

I did go to the USF-Bama game in 2003 - I know you despise the tide. Who doesn't?

Since I'm going with my father-in-law, he's getting us tickets outside of the visiting section - probably in the cheap seats. I'm going to feel very awkward cheering for my bulls while flooded in a sea of orange. Should I just ask someone in the visiting section to scoot over or will I be relatively safe sporting green anywhere? It's only my wife and I in green.

I doubt he would want to sit with me in the bulls section since he'll be wearing orange but I don't want to subject myself to 3 hours of being ridiculed.

As long as you are not wearing the Bammer dark pink or the LSU mustard on corndog yellow you will be fine.

i wouldn't worry about it if i were you. we don't have any hard feelings against usf, we're not rivals and barely ever play. don't wear red, purple/yellow, or gator blue and you'll be fine. i'm in the student section so i don't know what it's like in the rest of the seats, but i don't think you'll have any problems. as long as you're cool with the au fans, they'll be cool with you, especially during the tailgating. most of our fans are pretty good with visiting fans, you might get some trash talkign here and there but i wouldn't expect a lot of it. hopefully you don't run into any drunken idiots, can't promise you won't, but every school has them. hope you enjoy your time on the plains. make sure to post after the game and tell us what you thought

This is my first post on your board. I like what I see. I like the fact that the message board is welcoming Bull Nation supporters. As Bulliever said TheBullsPen.com is a great board. You are all welcome to visit.

I am looking forward to the game. I'm taking an extra day off from work to fully savor the experience.

Win or lose, it is going to be a good game. Of course, I am rooting for the Bulls to win.
