b/c i'm skipping the k-state vs. Auburn game to go see the Allman Brothers and Dave Matthews in piedmont park (Atl)?

i just checked ebay and the tickets are now going for double or triple what i paid for them. This is getting tough.

Yes. Allmans and Toxic Waste Dave are available on CD, DVD, or MP3. KSU getting the beatdown is a once-in-a-lifetime gift from God.

Well, I can't stand The Dave Matthews Band, but I do like the Allman Brothers, but not enough to skip an AU game, especially it being the opening game against a decent opponent.

I think that maybe going to see KISS would be the only concert that would make me think about skipping the game. Then again, I don't get to make the trip down to home games that often, so like somebody said, I will always have my CDs.

Anything happening in Piedmont park does not compare to even smallest thing in Auburn. Don't forget to wear rainbow colors.

Well, I saw the Allman Brothers a while back. They didn't stink up the place, but they weren't anywhere close to their peak, either.

As far as the Dave Matthews Band, all I gotta say is that you better be getting to lay some major wood on somebody.

Yeah, I am going to bet that the Allman Brothers don't exactly put on a concert worth remembering, not that most of those attending would remember anyway.

It would only be OK if Duane was resurrected, otherwise it is not worth it.

I don't follow the rainbow colors remark. What part of Atlanta do you live in?

going to Piedmont Park to see the Allman Brothers makes me gay?

Just taking a stroll in Piedmont Park can cause some "rainbow vibes" to rub off. "Statesboro Blues" might counteract some of that.

I frequent midtown often. vortex, twisted taco, park tavern are some of my favorite spots. To avoid an entire section of a city b/c homosexuals are there seems rather dumb in my opinion.

I'm still leaning on going to the concert. Hate me if you must...I've been to dozens of allman brothers shows, they have strong, strong roots in piedment park and i haven't been to a show in a few years. I am a falcons season ticket holder though...and with the falcons being the road that week, i'm more and more in favor of going to the Auburn game. Being in my mid 20's and not being able to buy a RV or really wanting to stay in Montgomery or wanting to drive to Lake Martin after the game...damn this is tough.

However, you can redeem yourself by scalping those tickets, buying a whole bunch of Heineken, icing them down and bringing them to the AUNation tailgate. Oh and by the way. They're not for you. They're for me and anyone I choose to share with.

Now, go sell those tickets numbnutts and PM me for directions to the tailgate. And those Heineys better be in the bottle.

DMB puts on one of the best live shows I've ever witnessed. I've seen them live ~11 times.

Quite worth it.

The Allman Brothers suck.

What did we tell you? The bammer says go to the concert. Don't you understand the peril your soul is in?

I'm sorry but I don't care for dave matthews that much. a song like "american baby" makes me want to clean my ears with a flat head screwdriver.
