chances of a redshirt are going down.... :cheer: I know what CTT said but u know they are salivating over the idea!

to bad we can't see video footage of the scrimmage!

"I saw him running around pretty good," said LB Tray Blackmon. "I'd love to get a hit in on him."

uhoh I think some HATE's coming soon!:lol:

Love the bobbleheads. :roflol:

I read that Caudle suffered a sprained shoulder during the scrimmage. I know TT said Caudle was second before the scrimmage so I wonder who is second now.

"

Tuberville acknowledged Caudle's injury was a setback, but he said he still plans to narrow the backup quarterback race down in the coming week. That could re-open the door for junior Blake Field."

Also Leon Hart suffered a ankle injury and is expected back in a couple of days.

TT said he did like the kicking game today so that is a plus.

I like a few of the comments from the D about KB

Burns puts pressure on the defense with a powerful right arm and superior speed and athleticism. Barring an injury to Cox, it's still unlikely he'll play this season. But he gave a glimpse of the future, and his teammates took note.

Burns hit freshman Quindarius Carr with a long touchdown pass. He had a long run that almost went for a touchdown.

Junior wide receiver Robert Dunn said the pass to Carr reminded him of former LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell. Junior tailback Brad Lester thought he looked a lot like Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith from Ohio State. Senior defensive end Quentin Groves just shook h is head.

"Oh, yeah!" Groves said. "When he stiff-armed one of our linebackers and then shook by two people, I was like 'What?'

Burns wasn't stressed when he learned all the backup quarterbacks would be live in Saturday's scrimmage. He was delighted.

Ever since Kodi committed I have honestly felt that the next 2 years (08 & 09) will be our years. I want us to do well in 07 but with such an unexperienced offensive line and such brutal road games im keeping my expectations down.

I've been smack talking up here about NEXT year....the likelyhood of everything coming together this year with the lack of experience in the O-line, LB, Add the road schedule and it is highly unliekly....I would love to see it this year but next year the bulk of the offensive starters (8) will be back and over half the D starters will return (7 or more) ..........would love to see it come early though! :cheer:

I consider the TEs interchangeable so they would count as a RS next year. :cheer:

Dont forget about the MUCH more favorable schedule (LSU, Tennessee, and Georgia at home - bama at our second home)

We do have to play WVU to open the year but I'm banking on Slaton going pro after this year. White does still scare me though.

Glad to know that Kodi did well today.....High school football and SEC are entirely different in terms of the speed of the game, pressure to perform etc... Kodi will be a special player for us in the years to come...

Blake will be a senior next year...Will it affect the QB lineup (at least backup)?

War Eagle!!

I bet we will be fairly prepared for White after chasing KB around for the next year in practice...
