VH1Classic loaded with great videos

Vh1 Classic is pimping the crap out of KISSology Vol. 2. The special is on all the time. The website has most of the 1980 concert in Sydney on it in video clips. There are some really rare live performances of songs like Shandi, Talk To Me and Is that You. Paul's guitar work on Black Diamond is pretty awesome. And you can't deny the overall greatness of drummer Eric Carr.

ABSOLUTELY. Actually intended to buy it today but got tied up with other things. The first one is really good. Looking forward to this one and Volume 3 too.

I have to say that my favorite music video is kind of embarrassing: "Take On Me," by A-ha. Not so much for the music, but for the very cool rotoscoping technique and how it told a story. It really set the standard for videos.

I'd rather see DMB... :rolleyes::poke:

I agree. I think DMB may be the very pinnacle of rock. I heard that Eric Clapton, after hearing the very first DMB tune, burned all his guitars and flew off to Antibes to despair that he could never match this budding genius.

I agree. I think DMB may be the very pinnacle of rock pimple-neck frat pop. I heard that Eric Clapton Huey Lewis, after hearing the very first DMB tune, burned all his guitars and flew off to Antibes to despair that someone more jejune than he had come along.

Gene wants your money.

I wasn't initially aware of it, but there are three versions of the KISSology DVD set. If you buy at Wal Mart or Sams Club you get a different concert and bonus disk than if you buy at Best Buy and a different concert and bonus disk if you buy at Target. So to get the entire package, you actually have to buy three copies (and end up with two of the three DVDs three times).

Not sure whether to brand that brilliant or simply galling.
