There is a brochure going around the state of the 100 (or so) dishes to try in the state of Alabama... It goes from Jimmy Buffets "Cheeseburger in Paradise" inspiree The cheeseburger from Dew Drop Inn... To various fine dining restaurants in Birmingham...

Just read an article on the updated list and The Momma's Love from Mama G's made the list... (I don't think the nachos are on there sorry)...

Here is a quote from the article... "Most of these restaurants are worthy of going out of your way. Last week, for example, a young couple, on their way home to Atlanta after a trip to the Gulf, sidetracked for a Momma's Love sandwich in Auburn. It just doesn't get any better than Momma Goldberg's, they think."

Anyways if you like food you should check out this brochure it has alot of neat things and places.

Mama G's may be on there, but this list is awful. Shouldn't it be named 100 more places......

Haleyville. Guthrie's chicken fingers and sauce. In case you didn't know, this is the original location of the popular chain. The second Guthrie's is in Auburn. There are now many more Guthrie's.

I'm almost 39 years old and that's the first time I've ever heard that. For some reason I always thought that the first Guthries was the one in Auburn.
