Mick Dogg 0
Howdy. I will be going to my first ever Auburn football game for the KSU Opener. I am driving down to Auburn on Saturday morning. Do y'all have any suggestions on the must sees or must dos for gameday? I want to make sure I get the most out of this experience. saniflush 0
Welcome to the board. Post often. I will leave the tour guide stuff to some of the other folks on here but bring your appetite, thirst, and football conversation! AUesquire 1
Welcome to the board. A quick note of must see's. Tiger Walk prior to the game and be in the stadium in time to see the eagle fly. Something you won't soon forget. Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/39493-first-timer/#findComment-396127 Share on other sites
CircleDrill 180
Gameday Info from the university can be found here. Gives you a lot of info about the logistics. http://www.auburn.edu/communications_marketing/gameday/ As far as must-sees, Tiger Walk (around 4:30 for this game). Check out the campus. If you have not walked through the amphi-theater, the tailgating there is pretty raucous. Might want to get your pic taken in front of Samford Hall, or by the sign on College St. Go to Toomer's corner, and *hopefully* back to Toomer's after the game. This game will be pretty crazy because it's the first one and it's at night. The earlier you can get there and sort of take it all in, the more fun you will have and less overwhelmed you will be at the game. Parking is going to be hard to come by in the afternoon, so plan on spending a little time in traffic before and after the game. There is going to be a LOT going on. ENJOY! idrivefast 0
bump for this. Just curious where the best places to park at are? I found the parking map on http://www.auburn.edu/communications_marke...activities.html but just curious where you guys would recommend parking. My g/f has bad knees so I'd like to park somewhere with a shuttle but I have to pick up my tickets at "Will Call" whenever they open on gameday. I plan on being up in Auburn around 12pm on Saturday.
