Northrop Grumman is putting a facility in Auburn's new research park. That's a huge name and will hopefully draw others in as well. Also, it will bring even more jobs into the area (start 3 laning College St. now!).

I told you so...

You know, it's kind of funny.

I was on a business trip two weeks ago and I was at the bar. Two other guys were there from Michigan. After we talked football awhile, one of them started ribbing me about being from Alabama, and how we were a bunch of poor rednecks.

I just said, "Laugh all you want, but we're about to pass you guys in per capita income. Looks like you'll be our poorer relations around 2010."

People just don't reallize how far this state has come in the past ten years.
