The same guy posted this video. It is footage of the 1942 Auburn vs UGA game. I really wish I could find some film from this era. Love the UGA single wing and Auburn running the T.

That Dye video still makes me teary eyed every time I watch it. For those that can remember the long drought, you know how much he means to where Auburn is today and laid the groundwork for our continued success today.

I know some people have mixed feelings about Dye after our probation, but in my eyes, he's still one of my heroes when it comes to Auburn football. I've had the opportunity to visit with him a couple of times on fundraising trips and I was always amazed at how humble and approachable he was, while still demanding your respect. He had an amazing ability to put his arm around you and make you feel like you were one of his players and to inspire you and make you want to make the most out of your opportunities. For someone from such humble beginnings, he gave some great pre and post game speeches.
