Yea, I thought part of the screen was dedicated to advertisements/stats? Maybe for the entrance video and/or pre-game, they use the entire screen?

As confirmed on ITAT Radio interview with Athletic Dept. video guy:

During the intro video, they WILL be going full screen.

When they start game coverage, about 60% will be video, 40% down-distance, advertisement, etc.

They also added two new ribbon board sections to the facade of each upper deck in order to dedicate two panels each to something OTHER than ads. In order to do this, Pat Dye Field and Jordan-Hare Stadium signage moved towards each endzone to make more room.

Thank God. That was the most disappointing part of those ribbon boards was it seemed to be nothing but for ads.

Hmmmm very intersting premise,

Wouldn't you be limited to the MP of the camera that was taking the photo such that all for the area would have the same clarity?

Second; Wouldn't the stand be illuminated, or at least be brighter then the area adjacent or above the board?

Not saying either way not sure I buy it just yet.
