Too bad, too late, they are Alabama's oldest business, I believe.

I know some Mountain Brook residents who have let them know

their business will go elsewhere.

It's just typical bammer arrogance that has ruined this state for decades.

Too little too late. And not very heartfelt.

It might as well have said "We didn't know you barners were actually going to hit us in the wallet where it hurts us the most. We'll take it back if you keep buying stuff from us. Our bad."

Screw that. A message must be sent that they can't get away with crap like that under the guise of fair and balanced ribbing.

They are completely out of touch with reality if they feel the ads were equally denigrating toward both fan bases. They poke fun at uat fans for living in the past, and complaining about officiating. They degrade AU fans as being uneducated, low-class country bumpkins with "tabacky" chewing grandmothers. It's one thing to tease a fan base for complaining and living in the past... it's quite another to slander a fan base's socioeconomic status, intelligence and relatives. I too have shopped there... no more. I'll be emailing them a version of this post. And, if this post sounded too "high-minded"... here's to you Mr. Bromberg... :moon:
