Good Omen or Bad Omen

It appears next year Auburn will be going for 7 in a row for the series, and will be going for 7 in a row in T-Town.

It doesn't just appear that way, it IS that way.

'7's heaven and the Bear aint there.'

I can't take credit for that though.

Yep Very Good Omen....

7 is Heaven + 2 at least 3 more to go = to, EVEN THE SCORE.... Pull ahead, complete the decade of dominance, and not let up.

Fixed.

I thought we were 5 behind? I still would get confused because the 2002 Iron Bowl CBS said the series was 37-27-1, then 2003 ESPN said it was 38-28-1. I assumed CBS goofed.

Isn't the series 38-33-1 now?

That is correct. It's also even over the last 32 years.

Don't forget the only reason UAT leads the series is because of the 19-6 Bryant years when we were down ... probation ... Barfield ... etc. Before Bryant went to UAT we lead the series ... after Bryant's time we have won the most games. Historically with the exception of that one coach AU wins most of the games in this series.

O boy... please just stick to the rest of it. Otherwise you sound like a Bammer ("Auburn only beats us while we are down and on probation")

I was saying pull ahead of the streak with 10 wins as opposed to Dyebama saying tie it with 9.

Good Omen.

Last week we went for 6 In a Row in T-Town and 6 In a Row in general.

Huh?

What don't you understand. This year's Iron Bowl made it 6 in a row in the general streak, as well as 6 in a row in Tuscaloosa. The question was asked if next year a win will make it 7 in a row in the general streak and simultaneously 7 in a row in Tuscaloosa. I said based on this it can only be a good Omen.

I think that was the point.

How did this year's win make it 6 in a row in T-Town?

No, the 6 in T-Town was last year. That part of the 6 was already determined. The other part of the 6 was decided this weekend.

I can see where you would be confused, because Chad's description was inaccuarte as it stood alone to begin with. But now that it has been explained, I fail to see your source of confusion.

I understand the entire 6 last year in T-Town and 6 this year in general.

I guess when the grammar of AUChizad (on this occasion) is that poor... it just confuses me. But I'm with ya.

Jeeze, I didn't know that statement could be so unclear even without further clarification, although I can at least understand a little confusion after review.

I guess I should have said last week made it both 6 in a row in T-Town and 6 in a row in the general series. I said we went for 6 in a row in T-Town and 6 in a row in the series, which I guess can insinuate that we were "going for" both simultaneously.

You make it sound like I was gurgling incoherent nonsense.

Semantics, people.

It just clicked. The key emphasis was on the word "AND." I think a lot of us missed that part and figured you meant we knocked out two birds with one stone. It still took two stones... but I'm with ya. We made it 6 in a row at T-Town last year, but by winning this past weekend, we made it 6 in a row in general ... hense... it was 6 in a row in T-Town AND 6 in a row in general.
