aulover 0
Southern Sports Tonight reproted a few minutes ago that the word just came out that Coach Tuberville and Jay Jacobs had come to a handshake agreement and that the contract would be signed after the respective lawyers looked it over, probably late December. ANyone else heard this? Or is this just the "agreement in principle" or whatever it was that was reported earlier this week?
bctiger 0
680 The Fan in Atlanta has a "Sports Blast" of breaking news every half hour or so and just stated that Tubs had agreed in principle to an agreement, which we all knew, and that Arkansas was prepared to counter... wareagle2334 0
I think the Auburn athletic director and President ought to give Tommy a raise and authorize the building of a full size 100 yard indoor field bubble. I think those bubbles give the coaches a lot of flexibility when the weather is bad. They could have used it at training camp this summer instead of that hard, dry, drought stricken field they had to practice on. The players never have to miss a practice and juggle their schedule, etc. It takes a lot of pressure off everyone when the players can get in their practice time no matter what. They ought to put in some nice FieldTurf in there. The players should get used to that FieldTurf. They play on it a few times a year sometimes. They can also use the bubble for meetings and maybe press conferences, etc. It's also VERY impressive to new prospective recruits when they come to visit. THAT is important. They also ought to give Tommy's assistant coaches raises or we might lose them. I hear they best give Borges and Muschamp a raise or they could be gone. Both of those guys have done a pretty good job. Give our Oline coach (Wayne Hall?) a raise too. He did a fantastic job with our 3 true freshmen. It was a huge relief when they turned out better than expected. I hope he makes sure they get better and better. Imagine how good they'll be by the time they are seniors? Our QBs and RBs will love it.

autkidd 0
I still don't understand why he insists on practicing on the intramural fields during 2 a days... The field could be responsible for some of the injuries... They should aerate the crap out of of the field before then... It needs work anyways. It is just like concrete.
