I simply mute those a**holes after the way they acted during the AU-UGA game. Here is to hoping both are punted from the booth before next year.

Now it's all our fault that LSU is not playing in the national championship game.

Apparently every injury Dorsey had all year was due to that one block, or that is what one would believe from the dynamic duo broadcasting tonights game.

I am sick of that pair.

I heard my wife screaming "Oh my gosh!" When I went into the den, she told me what he had said. They proved what idiots they are when they were dancing during the Georgia game, this comment just reminded us all of that fact, as if we'd forgotten.

I don't typically waste my time by emailing comments to big companies, but here is my complaint to sportsline.com:

"After listening to the end of the SEC Championship Game, I heard Verne say the most idiotic thing I have ever heard him say (and that's saying a lot). He actually had the audacity to say that Auburn was to blame for the fact that LSU was not going to the national championship game. He blamed Auburn for the cut block on Dorsey, implying that his absence took LSU out of the national title picture. Really? Is he that stupid? Since when does one player take a team to the national championship game (a defensive player on top of that)? You would do well to get rid of this blithering idiot."

Look at the bright side. If there really was one team that kept them out of the MNC game, I'm glad it was us. I hate those corndogs.

I heard that crap and CBS needs to get a Bromberg's earfull for this one. Aside from taking an unnecessary shot at Auburn, they're also insinuating that Dorsey is a one man team and LSU has no other talent on the field. They do. They just have a god-awful coach. But that's another story. Dorsey is an overweight, over-hyped D-lineman. These talking douche-bags think one gimpy D-lineman is the difference in LSU not getting to the national championship? And you want to take a back-handed, no...a slap in the face on Auburn?

Any chance we could ditch these louts?

Not only do they not push the SEC, they pimp other conferences. I noticed today where they were constantly cutting away from the SEC Championship to provide updates of meaningless Pac-10 games. And, that's not even touching on the idea of us being forced to play second fiddle to a mediocre Big XII.

I say we ink a deal with FOX, TBS, or any station that will agree to properly represent our league instead of being a mouthpiece for ABC.

Stupidest crap I have ever heard. One block in one game (that they won) caused them to lose a shot at the NC. What about not getting ready to play against Kentucky and Arkansas? What about all of the other close calls they had all year long? LSU could have lost 5 games easily and not even been in the top 25. What a stupid, stupid, stupid thing to say on national TV.

Guys, don't worry about it. When I heard him say that, I just laughed, because what else can you do when you hear such stupidity. Any half way knowledgeable football fan, outside the state of Louisiana anyway, realizes how ignorant of a comment that was. If one guy on defense makes that much of a difference, then what kind of MNC team would they be anyway? Heck, we could say the same thing about all our injuries and so could any other team in the country for that matter.

Hawaii happened to win a game a couple of weeks ago without their Heisman Trophy candidate QB, but LSU can't win without Dorsey?

I only worry about it because a national brodcasting station lets two idiots spout out whatever BS they want to. I've never listened to a worse pair of commentators in ANY sport.

I really wish Auburn could get some sort of deal like Notre Suck did with NBC. Then again, we'd still get stuck with CBSuck on our away games from time to time. Not to mention that getting a deal like Notre Suck has is very wishful thinking.

Hell, I'd do almost anything to get CBS out of the SEC. Or at least better commentators. Of course, then we'd still have to put up with Spencer Tillman's makeup-caked face.

What happened to TBS' college football coverage anyways? Did they ditch it? I thought they did a decent job. They never got any real big name games, but they still were pretty decent.

Didn't LSU loose a game before the "chop block". I'm also pretty sure that the Knee bone is not connected to the tail bone (which is why he wasn't playing) After these comments and the god-awful dancing during the GA game there has got to be a way to get rid of these idiots or maybe we should just refuse to play on CBS I like ESPN's coverage better anyway

The SEC has contractural obligation to allow CBS to broadcast any game they choose, regardless of whether or not a school objects AFAIK.

Perfect title for a couple of utter morons. It was actually Gary Danielson who made the last comment about how he was sure that LSU would play for the NC if it wasn't for the AU chop block. Amazing! I guess Glenn Dorsey alone would've stopped McFadden.

I believe it was Verne earlier in the game who referenced the AU chop block and said that from that injury Dorsey developed back spasms. I laughed that one off, but the last one infuriated me. Maybe enough e-mails to CBS will prompt a change next year. Wishful thinking.

Maybe I'm wrong, but as I recall, Dorsey didn't start the game against Auburn. He had some problem already. They brought him in for a couple of plays in the second series, then sent him to the locker room for a different style of tape job, brought him back out and that is when the (gasp!) CHOP-BLOCK happened.

If my memory is correct there's a better than 50/50 chance that Dorsey's injury is due to the LSU staff rushing him into a game he shouldn't have played in.

Am I correct or hallucinating?
