I think he's actually an old commit that is making his way back to us but that is great news!! I was just about to ask if someone knew what this Scouts story on Eltoro was about. He will step right in when our two Sr WLBs graduate this year. I hear he is like a Blackmon clone as far as ability. Thanks TigerMike!

The Auburn scout site list Eltoro Freeman as a verbal committment, but he hasn't signed anything yet. The Auburn rivals site does not even list him as a committment.

That would be nice. I don't know much about this kid. I guess when he went to JUCO it was kind out of sight out of mind. His numbers look great though.

His plan is to enroll at Auburn in December 08, not play JUCO this year so he will still have 3 years to play 3.

Said he has his GPA in good standing, even made the Dean's list.

I also saw something about him possibly redshirting next year so we didnt end up LB heavy in a single senior class, but somone like meta would know way more than I about that.

Yes, there has been talk about him possibly redshirting this year at JUCO.

Freeman has a spot if he can get in by next spring, however, if we get another Trahan situation things may get interesting.

Yeah, that was funny. I was talking about giving us a commitment very early, then pulling it at the end of the recruiting process.

It is great that he is getting his grades in order. He was very highly rated HS LB.
