The Prowler 1
There's a paper in Louisiana that stated the reason as to why he isn't back with the team...I don't have a link yet, but I'm still looking for it. "He has not met Miles conditions for coming back (meetings, work outs, attending class)." And...this from a LSU beat writer on the radio today. ...His mother drove to campus, walked in to see Les and chided him for "pushing" her son too hard...she allegedly warned him that only her son could "win" for LSU and he needed to "back off" & leave her son "the Hell alone!"... SouthLink02 8
I think all of that may be old news....what I mean is....those exact quotes were what I remember reading for his INITIAL suspension I could be wrong though I just know that the whole mother confrontation happened before the initial news broke of him being suspended She has always been....well.....I am not sure I am allowed to say that word on here

WAR-MATT 2
Link Employee: QB called server 'Osama'J.J. Alcantara Issue date: 4/3/08 Section: Campus Beat PrintEmail Article Tools Page 1 of 1 LSU junior quarterback Ryan Perrilloux led the Tigers to a 21-14 victory December 2007 in the Southeastern Conference Championship. Daily Reveille file photo Another employee at Kona Grill confirmed Wednesday that Ryan Perrilloux was involved in a verbal altercation at the restaurant, saying the junior quarterback called a server "Osama." The employee agreed to speak to The Daily Reveille under the condition of anonymity and said the incident occurred Sunday around 10 p.m. Another Kona Grill server, Drew Watson, said he knew "all about the incident" but "already agreed to management not to comment." Perrilloux entered the restaurant with an unidentified former LSU football player and three employees from Crazy Horse Cabaret, the anonymous employee said. He said the group sat in the cocktail area and began drinking. Perrilloux, the employee said, began yelling obscenities and racial slurs to their server. After some time, the employee said the server spoke to a manager and asked him to address the rowdy group. The employee said a manager asked the group to leave, and after the manager threatened to call the police, the group left. The employee said a manager e-mailed the LSU Athletic Department and said he would not serve any more LSU players until he received a formal apology from Perrilloux. Kona Grill allegedly received phone calls from LSU coach Les Miles, an assistant athletic director and Perrilloux apologizing for the incident, employees said. Watson is not the server who spoke about the incident nor the server who was harassed. LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette said no such incident occurred at Kona Grill. "We don't have anything to say," Bonnette said. The Daily Reveille contacted Assistant General Manager Scott Aldridge on Tuesday evening, and he said he did not have a comment regarding the incident. "I've been receiving a lot of calls about that and would like to stop receiving calls at the restaurant," Aldridge said. The Advocate reported Wednesday that Aldridge said "Perrilloux was at the restaurant Sunday evening but didn't cause a scene." Casey Hicks, public information director for the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, said the Sheriff's Office was not called out Sunday evening to Kona Grill. Perrilloux's suspension from the football team was lifted this past week, and he was expected to return to practice Monday. WJBO reported Tuesday that Perrilloux "will not be participating in Spring practice at all this year" because of "an incident at a local restaurant over the weekend." ---- Contact J.J. SouthLink02 8
I talked to a friend of mine whom I consider to be "inside" when it comes to the football team He DOESN'T think RP gets cut for this but says that the general consensus is this So, RP comes back and this goes away. Does anyone think he WON'T be arrested in the next few months? That he won't get into another altercation in the next few months? He hangs around the WRONG CROWD. Whether it is HS idiots that he used to go to/from games with....or new people he hangs around with off-the-field that nobody else on the team hangs around. It is just asking for trouble. He is HATED by teammates...including his WR's and has a big problem with authority....always has and his mother doesn't help It is time to cut ship now

With RP? Yes, like stated above, most of his peers don't like him....if nothing else, they know that if they were to do something, as many times as RP has done, they'd be Out. Without RP? They Do Not Have a Quality SEC player at QB, they'll have Jarrett Lee....and unless LSU's going with the Spread, he'll need more time to develop. Proud Tiger 4,261
One interesting thing about the whole RP is what the bammers are saying on some of their boards. They are so hypocritical in their comments about RP, Miles, and LSU as they look thru crimson glasses at their own string of player problems. It still amazes me how these people can rationalize their own situations while throwing darts at others.

Kinda like some of you talkng about cheating, ( au is no. 3 on the all time list by the way) coaches who lie (a pine box?), and wearing certain colored glasses!? You really don't see what your doing. To be fair, everyone does that I mean...I get a kick out of reading UF forums whenever one of their players gets arrested. It is always someone else's fault, it is never a team problem, and it is never a "big deal" Yet, when a UGA player is arrested WALKING HOME drunk....it is a team problem, a big deal, and sign that the kid is a complete alcoholic who needs drastic help I mean, the UGA forums are the SAME WAY when a UT/UF player is arrested Everyone is a hypocrite, imo those that isn't a bad thing
