Taken with a grain of salt because they are "scrimmage" numbers but here they are...

Ratings from all four scrimmages:

Neil Caudle ........... 147.1

Chris Todd ............ 144.8

Kodi Burns ............ 135.3

DeRon Furr ........... 131.8

Neil Caudle finished the Spring with 8 TD passes and 4 picks. He completed 64.1% of his passes for 7.08 yards per pass attempt. This gave him a final QB rating of 147.1, slightly edging out Chris Todd, who finished with a rating of 144.8. Todd completed 65.7% of his passes for 7.17 yards per attempt. He tossed 4 TD passes and had no picks.

Ratings from the last two scrimmages:

Kodi Burns ............. 182.6

DeRon Furr ............ 147.4

Chris Todd ............. 134.1

Neil Caudle ............ 111.7

Kodi Burns finished the spring with an overall rating of 135.3 but caught fire in the last two scrimmage games. In the last two scrimmages, Burns completed 72.2% of his passes for 9.86 yards per pass attempt, 3 TD's and zero picks. Chris Todd remained consistent, completing 64.4% of his passes in the last two scrimmages but had only 1 TD pass.

Again, you can't put too much stock into scrimmage numbers but it's evident Kodi Burns improved over the past month and is responding well to his position coach-offensive coordinator.

I know I said this in an earlier post, but I thought he looked pretty impressive at A Day.

I dont know what the big deal is, Kodi is our starter. We knew it would be this way, but we always knew kodi was more of a winner then any of the other players. He will win some big for us, Georgia LSU, and lose two close ones, Tennessee and I dont know, but he is our QB.

What the heck kind of enthusiasm is that? "lose to Tennessee and someone else"? BE MORE OPTIMISTIC! B)

I would say the big deal is that prior to recently there was a very real possibility of Todd being the starter.

Had you guys not seen his Highschool stuff? Todd is an awesome athelete, but im more in favor for Kodi by far. He was the spark we needed in times of trouble last year. Well, Tennessee yea we'll probably beat them, i just think theres going to be an unexpected loss this year... But plenty of great wins!

Have you not read or heard anything that came out of Franklin's mouth this spring? Todd and Burns were basically even in Franklin's eyes. That's why alot of people were seeing them split time if not have Todd as starter.

Yeah I think this spread will light it up next year. What a great problem to have with 2 good qbs. BTW I can't believe that crazy numbers boy has not been on here bashing Coach Franklin and bragging on Brandon Cox. What ever happened to ol' numbers boy? I am really excited about Coach Franklin, Auburn did great by hiring him. WDE!!!!!!

ok you guys win about Tenn., but i still think Todd is not even close to Burn's league. For all we know Franklin is telling the press what he wants Burns to think, that he needs to improve. Which is true, but not necessarily more then Todd. Besides competition creates improvement, I'd tell the press their even just to get more work out of both.
