According to you, charitable giving doesn't count when you are already well off...

What?

Do I need to bring back your comments about Cheney's charitable giving? The Clinton's had money by the year 2000...so just like Cheney, their contributions don't count...right?

Yes, please bring back my quotes. I never said Cheney's charitable giving did not count. All I said was that it was apples and oranges trying to compare him to Obama b/c they were at different points in their lives. As for the Clintons, I could careless what they do.

B/c it's relevant to the election season and relevant to the conversations we've had recently on this board. Both Democratic candidates have now released their tax returns. I'm still not sure why the focus has been solely on the charitable contribution part...I believe it was TM saying "so and so" wasn't giving enough or "practicing what they preached." Again, I started the thread b/c it's relevant and I also stated, that we're now only waiting on McCain.
