Just wanted to see if anyone was experiencing the same problem I am when accessing al.com's auburn football page. Does it appear that the article section is blank to yall and you have to scroll down a ridiculous amount to even find the recent articles? Been like this for me for awhile now, so what the hell??

I'm not having the technical problems you are--blanks/long scrolls--but I hate the new format of their Auburn/Alabama football pages. I wish they would go back to their old layout, and I told them so.

I'm not having the issues. Firefox 3 seems to handle them just fine.

I sort of like the new format from a usability standpoint. I think it's easier to find articles and such. But it's definitely not as pretty.

Yeah, I mostly view from work and we use an older version of IE so that could be the problem. Just found it strange that the bama page loads fine while the AU does not.

As far as the look compared to the older version - Ill take the old one anyday!

The old one was way easier to use. The article were all listed by Blogger or Newspaper on the right without scrolling down. Also, they are now including baseball crap in the only article listed per blogger on the football page.

I don't like the new format either. When I first saw it I thought it was one of those temp sites cause the real server is down issues.

I know the people at AL.COM (As well as the management team of the Birmingham News). You could turn over a lot of rocks, and not find a bigger collection of chuckleheads anywhere on the planet.

New format seems like a cheap copout to me. Instead of putting any real engineering efforts into, it looks like they have just plugged blogging software into the pages.
