Quentin Groves to Redskins?

Frank Coyle of draftinsiders.com is projecting that Grove will be drafted 21st in the first round by the Washington Redskins. That would be cool to see Groves, Campbell and Rogers on the same team, especially my favorite pro team.

Redskins have a solid D so that would be a good team to go to

Isn't the Skins Offense what hurt them last year? Shouldn't they take a WR? Or do they have enough of those.....

i could be eating crow by the end of the first round but i don't think there's a chance Q goes that early. My money is on early to middle second round.

The Redskins will take either a DE, CB, or a WR. Q would fit in to what they really lacked, a pass rush.

It's def a possibility.

I can say I would be buying his jersey day one if they did take him.

don't forget anthony mix and marcus washington too.

You are right. Thanks. I knew there was at least one more but I didn't have a roster handy.

My opinion is if you need immediate help on O other than RB you should trade for what you need. Rarely are defensive players busts. They are much safer picks in the early rounds IMO.

I want him with my Steelers, but Washington would be cool with all the other AU Alums up there.

Alot of the mock drafts that i have seen have calis cammpell fron miami going to washington.

I'd like to see a mock draft that has Groves going to Miami.

I'd love to see him in Iron City as well...

The more Auburn Tigers on the Skins, the better. We need a pass rusher is right, but QG will not be a D-lineman in the NFL. He will be a great LB, but the Skins are fairly deep there and have more importantly needs. I say they forget going for OchoCinco (he will cost to much) or Bouldin(ditto), and take one of a fair crop of large receivers, like Sweed from Texas. Hopefully, with a little help from his buddy Jason, Mix will mature into a good target to boot.

Oh well. He wont stick around long enough for their next pick. Good luck Q. I just wish you were coming our way.

Seems like a good move for Q. Close to home. Very good defensive team with a great coach.

Maybe Patrick Lee to Washington....maybe?

Or maybe Pat Sims?

I just want more Tigers to cheer for.

You may have almost had your wish.
Jacksonville made a last-second trade to move ahead of Pittsburgh in order to get Groves. Jags coach Jack Del Rio feared the Steelers would have otherwise beat him to the punch.
