AUTiger1 0
For anyone who uses a Mac on this board, have any of you seen or heard of any open source stuff that I can use to sync my BlackJack with my Mac? I have seen "Missing Sync" but I really don't want to pay $40 for the download. I have the CD that came with it (windows) so I can sync all my addresses and back the phone up, but the only PC I have is a personal one at home and since this is my work phone and I would like to sync it to my powerbook, since it is a work machine as well. TitanTiger 21,040
I think you're gonna have to pay the $40 for Missing Sync or install Windows on a Boot Camp partition to use it on your MacBook. Or did you say Powerbook? If that's accurate, the Windows option won't work either since that doesn't have an Intel processor.

I have a good ole G4 PowerBook, you're right, I don't even have the option of loading windows. I have searched for a couple of days and I have come up with nothing. Didn't know if anyone else had seen or heard of anything.
AUTiger1 0
Hey Titan, you haven't by chance used "missing sync" have you? If it's not that good of a product then I may just resort to using active sync on my PC at home and then copying the backup over to my Mac. I agree with Titan based on what you said I think you are going to have to pay the $
TitanTiger 21,040
The reviews I've seen on it are pretty good. See if they have a trial period to try it out for a few days.
jared52 4,358
If it's a work phone and a work computer, why not talk to the boss about buying the software. You just have to justify the business use.

You just have to justify the business use. Well, its a little more complicated than that. I am the only one in the office that got a BlackJack (don't ask me why, I have no clue) but right now we are on a spending freeze and he won't approve any purchases. I have three machines in storage (that be in use and it would help out a lot) that need power supplies and I can't even get him to cough up $300 on hardware. I have already approached him about it and he acted like he didn't want to hear about spending any money.
