aubiescottie 1
To continue beating a dead horse...Oklahoma did not play a tough non-conference schedule in 2004. 5-6 Oregon does not count. And I'm tired of the bowling green arguement, everyone forgets that WE were supposed to play them that year and THEY backed out. (We should've paid them the money, who woulda thought?) And the PAC-10 was TERRIBLE that year. USC played the #7 and #19 teams. We played 3 top 10 teams and #15 TN. I'm sorry, but a undefeated SEC school being left out is a bigger screw-up than any #1 team being out.
kwagoner 214
"One problem was that we started 17th & 18th." That shouldn't make a hill of beans...... if we started off ranked 110th and finished the only undefeated team, they wouldn't have any trouble ranking us up there at #1 or #2 at worst. That is the lamest excuse of them all. "Enough!" - The dead horse.
AUChizad 0
In summation: #1: Nick Saban's false unwarranted Mythical NC #2: Tommy Tuberville getting screwed out of his MNC which he earned. To bammers, though, head-to-head records, career records, or records at the current school all mean nothing. The only measure of a head coach or a program is by this false, error saturated, terrible BcS system.

SouthLink02 8
1) Auburn's absolutely screw-job is by far the #1 worst part of the BCS. No way to get around that and I still can't imagine UGA going undefeated and not getting into the NCG. Couldn't imagine 2) The 2003 is #2 because I still think LSU/USC were the two best teams who EASILY should have played for the NC. 3) I don't by the non-BCS conference team arguments. Boise State played in the correct bowl for them. Hawaii did too. If they beat Top 10 teams during the regular season AND go undefeated, they will be rewarded
