StatTiger 3,188
I broke down the top 12 individual rushing performances under each coach since Doug Barfield. Here are the totals and averages... Coach ................ Yards Att TD YPC YPG ATD Dye ................... 2604 300 24 8.68 217.0 12.5 Tuberville ........... 2369 372 19 6.37 197.4 19.6 Barfield .............. 2287 313 17 7.31 190.6 18.4 Bowden .............. 1903 283 18 6.72 158.6 15.7 Dye's backs had the best average yards per game, yards per carry and TD ratio. The above numbers come from the following runningbacks. quietfan 233
Now I know my memory is over the hill! When did Brandon Jocobs get in a game long enough to have a Top-12 day? I don't recall him ever playing much. Not that I'm doubting Stat--that would be heresy!--but just curious about which game I've forgotten. I would have thought several other Rudi performances, or even Tre Smith's legendary Iron Bowl, would top the only BJ appearances I can remember. Remind a senile old man what he's forgotten, please. Justin5 20
Something tells me the Jacobs game came against a Ball St., Buffalo, or La-Monroe.
