Post the greatest Auburn player by number I'll start with No. 1 and whoever follows me can post No. 2 --- try to limit yourself to the following FIVE numbers and then allow a post or two before you jump back in with more numbers just so everyone can participate. We've got 80 days to kill 'til kickoff. I got my gameday sunglasses in the mail today so i'm ready to roll.

my auburn knowledge doesnt date back very far as i grew up an A&M guy... so i'll go with this pick for #1

#1 - Devin Aromashadu WR 2002 - 2005 :au:

EDIT: oops, 6 and 5 are right next to each other.

#3, Kevin Porter, DB

Oh heck, I can't remember the years. It was back around 1987 or so, I think.....

He started as a true freshman at CB, I think...., and later played for the KC Chiefs

Most hype and potential yes. But based on on-field performance it's got to be Pat Washington.

#19 Trey Gainous (1983-86) – Four Year Contributor as a WR that also returned kicks. Made a drive saving catch (4th and 3) during the 4th quarter of the 1986 Iron Bowl that helped Auburn defeat Alabama 21-17. Also turned in an impressive performance at Tennessee his freshman year to help Auburn earn a victory in 1983. He also was a member of the Auburn baseball team.
