Overall, a pretty positive article - we've had some bad press recently, it's nice to read some positive stories.

I thought it was a positive article as well, but I too am getting tired of hearing Propst's input on issues that don't concern him in the least, especially when pertaining to Auburn.

Okay, while in my personal opinion Propts is a scumbag, I have to concede that he probably has a pretty unique viewpoint on these two. First of all, the three of them are probably much more connected to their high school coaching roots than are most sports writers or other college coaches, so they share that bond. Plus, he was a high school coach shopping for hot new offensive systems when Malzahn and Franklin were writing their books and advertizing their systems. As more or less a customer of both, he probably is in a position to make comparisons that we haven't thought of.
