For all the talk of going into Texas and such we need to focus on getting back into the Birmingham metro area and taking 1 or 2 of those kids each year like we used to. And taking 3-4 of the top 10 out of the state. Also we need to get 2-3 out of the Atlanta area. UGA has put a lock down on the metro atlanta area and the next level kids have been going to clemson, SC, UT and Ga tech.

Both areas have a lot of talented players - most big cities do. I believe Coach Chizik and the staff he's putting together will hit Atlanta and B'ham hard - Montgomery/Prattville and the Mobile area, also. One advantage to getting kids from within driving distance of their homes, is their families can see them play more often.

It will be a plus to get talent from AR, TX, and OK to the Plains.
