Right out of the gate: What are your 2009 plans? "I'm going to take some time off but I plan on coaching again. I hope to coach again soon."

What would you change if you could change hs recruiting? "I would have an early signing date. And give more opportunity for face to face contact with players and head coaches. You have to have more visits with these players"

So I guess its cool to hate on Tuberville now?

Nope. He's still an AU man until he starts coaching people wearing some color other than blue. Then you can hate away!

I may be alone in this, but if his next team is not in the SEC they will become my 2nd favorite team. I would enjoy pulling for him if his team was in the ACC, big 10 or 12.

Me, too!

The attention and wooing these kids get now has gotten out of hand. They play both ends against the middle, commit and then decommit and play mind games with the coaches. They're nothing more than student athletes who want to play football for an education. Nothing more! Some changes have to be made and quickly or the players are going to be running the show instead of the coaches and the schools. They're spoiled rotten. As coach Dye once said: "It's a hell of a note for a grown man's employment and welfare of his family to be determined by a bunch of 18 year old kids."

Is he still working for Auburn? Like he said he would help the president in any way.

Can he talk to recruits and encourage them to go to Auburn?

Sounds like he did a lot of talking to these kids.
