StatTiger 3,188
With the recent hiring of Ted Roof as Auburn's defensive coordinator, one of the highlights of his one year at Minnesota was their forced-turnovers. Everytime Coach Tuberville hired a new DC, there was always hope the new coordinator would bring an increase in forced-turnovers. With this in mind, here are some interesting facts sorting from this current decade (2000-2008). aucanucktiger 2,016
Timely topic. If the D-line & LBs are causing fumbles, always good. BUT, if your turnovers are mostly from picks, look further. Many a-college has lived & died by aggressive DBs either getting the interception (thus helping the turnover margin) or giving up the long-gainer/TD because they overcommitted trying to get the pick. Which was Roof/MN? Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/55266-turnover-margin/#findComment-571142 Share on other sites
Grider 1
Can you pull the numbers for the teams Roof was d-coordinator for? Don't know if using his HC numbers from Duke would be a good or bad idea.... How about for Chizik coached teams, both his stints as DC and HC?
