How much are our Coordinators getting paid?????

and how much is TROOPER TAYLOR getting paid??? b/c he was a bigger name on the market than Rocker...

I don't know but an Ole Miss friend of mine just emailed me a link to Finebaum where (apparently) Tim Brando went off on AU or a fan or something over this. I didn't listen to it yet.

I would be surprised if all our coaches and ass't salaries combined eclipsed that of CNS at UAT.

When Steve Spurrier was awared 1MM at UF, I knew we'd get to this point. Saban's salary just moved it up a notch or two. These programs can afford it if they cut back on their profit margins. Not like the have player salaries to pay right?

I'm quite sure all of our salaries combined are more than Saban's. I've heard Rocker is getting 333k, I'm sure the rest of these guys are being well taken care of.

Stoops is paid 6 mil. We probably don't reach his level but Auburn's staff will continue to be one of the highest paid, as a staff.

AU is forging one strong chain from what I've witnessed so far.

I guess we will find out this year if money can fix everything. I think CGC is putting together a great coaching staff and only time will tell if they work good together and get the job done but I worry that the high salaries leave them no room for much error.

Auburn may be on the cutting edge with this plan. 20 years ago, hardly any joe-blow would know who the coordinators were, much less what they make. NOW, the OC/DC are as much of a face of your program as the head coach.

The "internet age" has us even looking at POSITION coaches with further scrutiny. When you (the fan) can hold position coaches accountable for the HIGH SCHOOL PLAYER he is recruiting, you know the expectation of these position coaches must be through the roof.

Auburn may be one of the first to do this, but I doubt we'll be the last. The assistants are already being held accountable. Now, they are just being paid accordingly.

I think it's a great model - pay your HC well, but not 10X what the others make and get a complete staff. Hopefully will help with tenure, and will add to job satisfaction - a heavy burden shared by more hands, yadda yadda yadda....
