I bet he goes to Southern Miss-- I think I saw that he has a brother there. Are we still pursuing Scott? Seems like Ole Miss is signing a lot of RBs. But what do I know, he's a 4* guy and I think he was 3* earlier this year so apparently he did well. They've got 4 current commits showing as RB. Obviously not all of them have to end up at RB, but something's gotta give at some point. AcctTiger 0 Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 Hey guys....One of my best friends is the DC for Hardy's high school team.....I am pretty sure he isnt going to leave the state of MS....Ole Miss is really on him and he is a big lean to them from what my buddy says although Southern Miss. has made a strong push with him lately....Ive seen him play several times during his career.....He can be very impressive at times but his stats can be deceiving....They run the old notre dame box/ wing T formations which basically runs the ball about 95% of the time.....he is explosive when he can get to the corner and in space but I wasn't really impressed with his power running ability/toughness....seems to go down pretty easy when tackled....He played in the Army All-American game but didn't really do much. He is a good kid from what i have heard....Dont get me wrong the kid is fast and had a great HS career....but i think he may be just a little over-rated... However, they have a kid that was a junior this past year that is an absolute freak...He made hardy look like a jv player on some of the runs he made and he will really lay a lick on defense.....He will be a "Dandy Dozen" (Top 12 Players in the State) in the state of MS next year and I would love to see us try to go after him....He played every position on the field minus OL/DL....6-1....200-205...runs a 4.4 - 4.5....He could play Offense or Defense in the SEC no doubt....I believe the kids name is Matthew Wells but I am not 100% sure....Ill talk to my buddy and find out for sure..
