Bradford Returns

Sounds like Bradford wants another shot at the MNC instead of a shot of potentially Detroit!

...yeah, I know Stafford is the consensus #1 QB, but still....

I called this in the MNC game thread right as it was closed. Now if Stoops goes to the NFL, I'll be dead on.

Beano Cook and Ivan Maisel were talking about this on their podcast and it's the first time any of them could remember the top three Heisman vote receivers all return for next season. Hate it for you if you had Heisman hopes for next year. I guess it's McCoy's turn.

I think this makes it a lock that Sanchez will leave early.

All indications are that he is leaving early. I believe he is supposed to meet with CPC today to discuss. I find it amazing that all these kids are turning down such big money to come back to college after they've already accomplished the things they have (Heisman, MNC, etc).

"doesn't anyone want to play in Detroit?"

In a word,,,,, NO.

But then Detroit is the odds on favorite to have the first draft choice in the 2010 draft. With another terrible season Bradford or Teabo could still end up at Detroit.

Can the Lions go 0 - 16 again? 0 - 32 woah that would be a great record to have.

That would be a good "pool bet", wouldn't it? When will Detroit win?

The words Detriot and Lions form an oxymoron.

Even with Billy Sims and Barry Sanders, they haven't been worth a s*** since I was a kid.

Last year Miami was the worst team in football, this year it is Detroit. If I was a potential #1 draft, there is a world of difference between those two choices, regardless of what their respective records were at the time.

Heck, Miami was actually able to turn their season better then any franchise ever has, so Jake Long is real happy with his situation. However, given their recent history of losing records with only 15 wins combined in the last 4 years, I don't see Detroit being able to do the same thing as Miami was able to do, so their pick is not going to be as fortunate as Jake Long was.
