What do you do?

Charge them with indecent exposure. And as part of their probation, no cell phone usage for a year. It's called personal choice. No one forced them to do that. If one of these girls get pregnant, do we charge them with anything?

Charge em! Make an example out of them. This is one of the reasons I have always disliked the camera phones.

So if convicted they also have to register as sex offenders along with pedophiles, rapist, and incestors.

I think this is the best course. Indecent exposure would be the ticket. Don't make them sex offenders with the rapists and child molesters.

I read this story and I have flashbacks to High School because I went through this incident....almost exactly this incident

I was coming back from a high school baseball practice and a few good friends of mine showed me pictures THAT GIRLS HAS TAKEN off them having sex with boys from the team. Now, the pictures really just showed the girls but you could see the guys faces (but not their private parts or anything). Either the girls themselves took the pics or friends of there's WHILE THE SEX WAS GOING ON. I kind laughed at the pictures at the time only to find out a few weeks later that a parent found out about it all and called it in.

So, not only did the police come but the FBI investigated everyone on the team but the most in trouble guys were the ones who initially spread the photos as some took the pics and COPIED them on the computer and sent them through email.

3 guys got kicked out. And they really were good guys. They just made a big mistake sharing it with others. They didn't take them themselves and they really didn't know they were breaking the major laws that they did

I mean....the kids in this story are 14-15 and my story comes from 16-17 year-olds.

They screwed up BIG TIME but to go as far as some want? I just don't see it.

If they convict them of charges that will make them sex offenders, then they are RUINING these kids lives! I think in school suspension for the rest of the year. No cell phones or computers for 1 year, and probation until they are 18 would send the message that needs to be sent. Can you imagine 14 year old kids with no phones or computers for a year? Now that's punishment!

I don't really see a 'crime' here. I'd let them off any charges. They still could get school or home discipline in some way.

Something tells me most if not all of them will be let off the hook and this will become common place. Our country and the value system have begun to crumble. Let the government handle it. They own us anyway.

And just how are you gonna enforce "no computers" on kids taking computer classes or needing computers to get assignments done working in schools with computer labs everywhere?

I think they need to be charged & punished. Every kid in America is doing this. I never really figured out why there is a demand for very bad grainy pictures taken by your cell phone...

The first picture phone I ever say was being confiscated by the gym. The guys were taking all kinds of adolescent shots of the ladies working out. Is there not enough porn available already?

If this had happened at work someone would or could be charged with sexual harassment which is against the law.

My warning is: if you don't want the world to see it, don't send it in a text message or post it to the www.

I do think we have more important problems to tackle. If we had had this technology 50 years ago, I might have been walking in these kids shoes. Just saying.
