arnaldoabru 11
I am buying two new squirrel dogs from this guy. I thought they were a little pricey so I wanted to try them out first. He dropped them off at the house yesterday. I took them out this afternoon. It got time to go to supper so I got one up and couldn't get the other. Went in and ate.Got back on the mule and went back out in the woods to try to find the other.Searched for two hours in the cold, nothing. Came back home, went into the carport. The dog is laying by the electric heater. Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/55536-new-squirrel-dog/ Share on other sites

My 5 year old still talks about him thanking God and asking Him to watch over Aubie. Breaks my heart to hear her talk about it. I bought a feist puppy back last spring with the idea of training it.Between children's sports this summer and Auburn Football this fall I've done a piss poor job training it. Basiclly none at all and has become mostly a pet. The two I just bought seem really good. I've only taking them out the one time. I'm hoping the weather warms up this week to take them out again. The only problem I see is that the feist( a little over a year old) grabs the squirrel. Doesn't run off with it, doesn't tear it up, but you have to get it out of its mouth.
