Mikey 16,781
Poor Doug Segrest of the Bammerham News! First his plan of mis-information to get Moseley mad at Auburn didn't work, now he's got to eat crow on his "Randle has no interest in Auburn" story. He better be careful. If he can't find dirt that sticks on Auburn, they'll fire him and find a writer that can think up something. WAR-GIGEM-EAGLE 4
it looks like we have our work cut out for us for both of those receievers. Emory Blake needs to talk to Jeff Grimes about Colorado, but it'll be hard to convince a receiver that we can get him more action than Texas Tech can. Those guys throw the ball to EVERYONE. Hopefully, he'll understand that they'll be THE ONE here at Auburn. LSU is pretty much in the drivers seat so maybe they said something. so if they threatened to pull his offer, he may listen since he knows he wants to go there. that doesn't pan out with Alabama though, as making threats usually require some sort of leverage. at this point, Alabama has no leverage to make those sort of threats. all it boiled down to is you guys got uber stoked when you first heard RR was going to visit. then when his father said that was false, you fell flat on your faces and needed a scapegoat. as usual, when something didn't go your way, it has to be because somebody cheated, paid somebody, or used a dirty tactic. it can never be because a kid simply wasn't interested enough. It doesnt make sense. TR has been taking visits all season. Has been very very open about it. AJ is visiting OU. Dre went to UF this past weekend. Kendall Kelly visited Clemson. Tana Patrick visited Auburn. Moore visited Auburn. So why would all these guys get Saban's blessing, but we decide to pull the offer of the #1 player in the country, because he decides to visit Auburn? We aren't threatened by Clemson, Florida, Oklahoma, etc...but we are SOOOOO threatened by Auburn that we pull the offer of a kid who can go anywhere in the nation? Again, it doesn't make sense. It's just an opportunity for you to float it out there...you KNOW it's not true, you know it's not likely. But you put it out there anyway because you CHOOSE to believe the worst 100% about Alabama, and give AU the benefit of the doubt even in the face of an obscene amount of logic that argues to the counter. Put on your houndstooth cap and got 12 shirt and go count up how deep you are rollin' at running back... Funny...three of those 5 are playing in the NFL right now....
