Randle added that his son has not expressed much interest in Auburn . . .

They just will not allow anything positive about AU recruiting to happen without do all they can to make light of it. Am I the only one this ticks off enough to cancel subscriptions to this rag?

I canceled 2 years ago, about the same time I stopped listening to Paul F-bum.

Edit to add... You know the guys that hang around Bruno's and offer a free paper and ask for a subscription? I said "no thanks", and "no thanks". He was pushy and asked me why I wasn't interested. I can't remember the figures, but I actually counted news column inches devoted to uat and AU. I also kept count of positive vs. negative articles for both teams. It was VERY obvious about the uat homer bias. After a 5-minute lecture on my findings, and that I would prefer sandpaper to the B'ham. news to wipe my azz, his jaw dropped and he walked way. Hey, he's the one that asked.

You have a subscription Kingfish?? I would definitely cancel it.

I canceled my subscription 2 years ago this May and like TDA comments below I stopped listening to the little pip squeak's radio program at the same time. I found the article at Tigerland.com.

I feel the same way about the Montgomery Advertiser. I have dropped it to a 3-day a week subscription. I would cancel that, but want the coupons in the Sunday paper. If I could get those online, I would cancel in a heartbeat.

"I actually counted news column inches devoted to uat and AU"

Seriously, these sports rags are why it's killing us to not having a David Housel type around anymore to offset the chronic negative media spin re. AU. We have NO local paper of any circulation for national or state media to tap into off the wire and there's no "beloved media attraction" (e.g. Jo Pa for small town Penn State) for us right now.

Almost more than any athletic program in the country, we need an AGRESSIVE sports information office. Right now, we don't have it.
