Defense(clap clap) 4
Looks like David Oku is coming too. Not sure if it's this week or next. Does anyone really think we have a legit shot to get either Reid, Randle or Oku? Does anyone really think we have a legit shot to get either Reid, Randle or Oku? If they follow through and DO actually come for the visit, we have a legitimate shot. No guarantee mind you, but if they visit, we have a chance. TigerDevil 3
We know nothing about our coaches as recruiters, so we only can wait and see. Taylor, Luper, Roof and Malzhan may be excellent. They obviously are convincing recruits to consider Auburn. Because they gotten a lot of recruits to come and visit within a short amount of time. AU Cav 0
Randle has said enough to go from no to low to med interest on Auburn. Sure, we probably won't get any of these kids but we have no chance of getting them if they don't come visit. And it doesn't kill us to have them come since we have the visits. I'm having faith in the coaches, our players, and I hope that these kids feel the same thing I did when I first saw the campus. AUman43 5
I think, although we having gotten a lot of additional commits, it does demonstrate the tenacity which the coaches are going to approach recruiting in general, which is a change IMO. I'm excited about next year and them having a full year to evaluate, hold camps, visit and establish relationships. I believe Auburn people are going to be pleased. AUmattyD 0
As with anything else, this is somewhat of a numbers game. You never know if another school will run out of scholarships, run out of room at a position, get a kid they liked a little more. If you can convince this many big time athletes to consider AU and take a visit, a certain number are going to love it and commit. That's just sales. Who knows if that number is 1, 2... 6 or 7. We'll find out and I, for one, am excited. I can't remember how many scholarships we have to go, but assuming we can sign a full class, we still have 10 more kids to award scholarships to.
