ziggyg 2
Out of all the big names still uncommitted and you could get just one to come to Auburn who would it be? Randle, Kirkpatrick, kelly and some other s I cant think of off top of my head. Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/55801-a-wish-list/ Share on other sites
Tigermike 4,251
AU has more than one spot left, so I can't limit it to one. Therefore Randle, Kirkpatrick, kelly and some other s I cant think of off top of my head would be nice. Justin5 20
If I could pick 1, and only 1 - Randle. Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/55801-a-wish-list/#findComment-576968 Share on other sites
DCWarEagle 0
If I could pick one, I'd go with Randle. Bama has Julio Jones and UGA has AJ Green, so it would be nice to have our own stud WR. Plus, we often get highly touted defensive players and RBs, would be nice to have that sizzle from a reciever... I would like Randle but on wish list as you mentioned with bama and uga having big wrs I would take kirkpatrick as a lock down corner. AU alum 2
In no particular order: David Oku, Rueben Randle, Aubrey Phillips, and Daren Bates. That said, Philiips and Bates are both from Olive Branch, MS. I would guess they would go together. Aubrey Phillips seems to be interested in Auburn only. And, to me he sounds like the best bet. A really big OT. Daren Bates has checked out the usual suspects, so I don't know which direction he's leaning. But they are visiting together in Auburn this weekend. autigeremt 7,545
We NEED Phillips. But a takeaway from Bammer would be appreciated. Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/55801-a-wish-list/#findComment-576987 Share on other sites
BARNER 3
I find it hard to believe no one sees the immediate impact Kirkpatrick would make for our D... he's my top choice if we're choosing. AUman43 5
I agree that Kirpatrick probably could make an immediate impact on our D, but so could a great receiver such as Randall or Kelly if you're wishing. Truth is, we could use both in the worst way. Add to that Aubrey Phillips as an OT and Tana Patrick at LB. If we could land these kids I would have an early Christmas and New Years. It would also be really nice if we could garner Demond Washington and Johathan Atchison away from the Paper Plant boys and the midget. WarDamn57 0
Bryce Brown, soft verbal to Miami, but I would love to have him visit. From a pratical standpoint, Kirkpatrick, we need DBs badly. BARNER 3
We're good at WR IMO. PSL should be back from knee injury, Brandon Heavens, LaVoyd James, Philip Lutzenkirchen and Onterrio McCalebb (OM could be used as a slot WR as he is smaller but very fast with great hands). I see a hole in the secondary as far as recruits. Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/55801-a-wish-list/#findComment-577024 Share on other sites
BARNER 3
Reggie Taylor is our lone CB commit to date. Link to comment https://www.aufamily.com/topic/55801-a-wish-list/#findComment-577026 Share on other sites
ziggyg 2
Bryce brown is a beast and has great hands in that Army game. Then we could the other half of the co-mvp's of that game. BARNER 3
I would say the question about Heavens is a good one but that would only be due to the fact I don't know the answer. I have not seen anything about him not being eligible? He gave AU his verbal as a junior in 2007 and most folks just forgot about him.
