When I heard his name and read his profile many months ago - I thought to myself "This seems like a guy that would play for the Gators." Go figure...

As of right now, student22 on Scout says he is a non-qualifier. Not impossible for him to qualify, just very difficult. In addition, Lanier was recruited to play safety, fwiw.

Heavens as mentioned is a non-qualifier at this point and in reality I'm not sure he would be that big a loss if he did end up elsewhere.

Maybe its just my imagination, but this guy has seemed a little soft on his commitment all along. I know he was one of the first commitments for this year, but he seemed to be looking for somewhere else to go from the time he declared. I had sort of assumed that he would be gone all along.
