TigerHeat, do you use a password wallet program? If so, how do you like it?

Password wallet program? No, not me. Never heard of one until yesterday. My knowledge of computers and things techy is approaching Luddite. There is probably a zoo-escapee primate that would be a better one to ask than me. I just know that my computer uses Vista, and it annoys me regularly.

I use a program called RoboForm. It remembers all my passwords for me, and I believe i have a roboform portable app. as well, that would allow me to put my user data on a jump drive and take a portable version of the program with me to use on other machines. I absolutely LOVE roboform. It can even store credit card info to make online purchases easier. It will also generate passwords for you as well, if you have trouble coming up with one. When you install it you can set a master password on the user account as well, requiring that master password to be entered at access them.

Thanks for the info! Is RoboForm PC, Mac. or Universal?

I started out on a PC using DOS (then early Windows), switched to Mac in 1994 (job related), and have never looked back. No OS wars for me - to each his own!

From what I can find out, roboform is PC only. Guess that doesn't help you much, but i tried. It really is a great program.

I'm looking at Wallet by Acrylic Software. They have a version for the Mac & iPhone (I don't need that unless Verizon gets access to them one day). Thanks for trying - I appreciate it!
