Im revising my prediction on recruiting class.

a week or so ago i said that we would end up 17th in the final recruiting class rankings. Our coaching staff has been coming on strong at the end. Chizik and company are laying the ground work to go head to head with SATAN next year. Although we are currently ranked about 19th i think when all is said and done we end up in the top 15. well actually 15th. not too bad for a coaching staff that is two coaches short and only been on the job a few weeks. what say you.?

To believe we are currently 19th is believing in Rivals rankings and to believe in Rivals is to believe Eltoro is a 3 star which I do not. Scout had us ranked at 15th. If you believe scout then I believe we'll be just outside the top 10 at 11 or 12.

FWIW, Rivals has not added Paige yet to the rankings. It we finished Top 15 I would be ecstatic with all that happened this offseason.

i really don't believe in either of them, but i think scout may be a little less bias. The one thing i don't see in any recruiting service is the measure of heart. However, it would be nice for the media attention that would come from a top 15 class on the so called "top recruiting" services.

Lest we forget, Rivals was started by a Bama grad and history has shown that they have overvalued Bama singing classes in the past and undervalued Auburn and Tennessee classes many times.

At the same time, the two guys that started Scout were UTK and Notre Dame grads and tend to overvalue UTK and Notre Dame while undervaluing Bama.

If we end up with a top 15 class I'll be very happy.
