TitanTiger 22,262
They've backed it up a little bit this year so you've got plenty of time to plan for it. Let's welcome Coach Chizik, the new coaching staff and all these new players to Auburn in big fashion. I know I'm going to do my best to go and see some of the new players and check out Coach Malzahn's offense in action. In an interview Coach Taylor mentioned that there will be some top recruits on campus and at the game that day, so we really want to show them a good atmosphere even though it's a spring scrimmage game. My wife and I will be making the trip down (I convinced her to come with me instead of going to UAT). It would be cool to meet some people. I think the only people on here I know is UAHRanger and I've spoken to David before. I'm game. autigeremt 7,553
The ASVA and the Lee County Auburn Club will have a joint tailgate in front of Nichols ROTC Center. I can get more area for the AUN if anyone is interested in having it there. AU-Dave 7
There is one HUGE event in Auburn that weekend that will hurt A-Day attendance. At least the students turn out. If you haven't heard anything about "Sticks" you will. Its a huge two day concert/woodstock at Parker Hill. They are expecting 50,000+ Coolers and camping are welcome so that sealed the deal for many of my friends and other students. Maybe this would work in favor of A-Day? There will be lots of visitors from out of town, so maybe they will take a break from the music and come over for some football. Just throwing that out there... The website has the full lineup etc... www.stickscountry.com I planned on going the full two days but now I'm going to have to change things up a bit.
