Nebraska and Ole Miss (somehow) are now in the mix as well. Keeps delaying his decision and saying he's in no hurry. Personally, its getting a bit tiring and at this point I really dont care if he signs with us...we signed about 4 guys who can play RB in 09. I'm not just saying this about Oku, but I'm tired of some of these players holding out for all the attention and pub that they can get. You know darn well by now he knows where he's going so get on with it. I honestly wish some of them would get shut out and send a message to the rest of the hold outs who think they're God's gift to football. He didn't say who or why it is taking so long. Just speculation on my part but I think he may be waiting to see what Bryce Brown does. If Brown doesn't go to UT, Oku may end up keeping his commitment to them. It seems like one of his buddies is acting like an agent, dealing with the press and giving interviews speaking for Oku. It's all a bit strange, but I have seen print about family issues, and he seemed to get overwhelmed with the whole process towards signing day. I hope he makes up his mind soon. If Brown doesn't go to UT, Oku may end up keeping his commitment to them. I'm thinking something similar to what you said. Oku may have it down to UT and another team. He is going to see what Brown does, and go from that. (i.e. if Brown chooses UT, he'll go to the other team, which I hope is Auburn!) Now, if Brown doesn't choose UT, I don't have any idea what Oku will do. I'm not so sure that he will choose UT, though. Hopefully his choice of schools is more important than providing entertainment for recruiting hounds. Most recruits COULDN'T take their time to make this important decision. Oku has most of the marbles so he's doing what every other recruit wishes they could...make an informed decision w/out outside interference. Play RB for UT or 'Cuse & your gone in 3 or 4 years. Play RB for and we'll make you an AU man for life! Ask Emmitt Smith where he WISHES he'd played...
