Auburn's average points scored during the 2nd half when trailing at halftime:

1999: 8.6

2000: 10.6

2001: 8.0

2002: 10.5

2003: 4.8

2004: 14.0

2005: 13.0

2006: 8.5

2007: 7.5

2008: 4.7

AU was 11-29 under CTT when trailing at halftime

Auburn's average lead at haltime from 2000-2008:

2000: 8

2001: 11

2002: 18

2003: 20

2004: 18

2005: 19

2006: 8

2007: 8

2008: 8

From 2000-2006, Auburn was 52-7 when leading at halftime but only 13-7 from 2007-2008. Looking at AU's average halftime lead, it's easy to see why AU's record has dropped the past couple of years. Tuberville was always conservative but it's not good to be conservative when your offense is not capbale of building a strong halftime lead.

This staff and in particular Malzahan have the potential to be scary good.

If the chemistry happens and all indications so far are good, Auburn will

be making a huge impact on college football. If not it won't be because

of poor coaches or coaching. Something very special is happening at Auburn.
