You are way off. The GOP is going to copy the dems, what with the success of Obama. Following the dems lead, Gov. Huntsman is WAAAAY too experienced. The GOP candidate for 2012 is probably still in law school or is a lobbyist or community organizer right now.

(I looked for personal predictions but couldn't really find any, just a bunch of posts of other people's articles. I can only assume that his posting of referenced articles are things he believed in back then.)

The dems picked a great candidate for 2008. Too bad he is a terrible president.

The fact that someone can be deemed a terrible president not even 2 months into his first term shows big the divide is between reality and the extreme right/left wing and their hatred for the other party

It's ashame too

If Obama ends up being the worst President ever, so be it. But I will give him some time to show that.

By the way, he was declared as the greatest president since Lincoln before he was even sworn in.

I won't be able to make a judgement until after his fifth term. Cancer should be cured by then.

I said "is" not "will continue to be".

So, I guess it depends on what the definition of "is" is.

Hopefully he won't continue to be, but most recent behaviour is the best evidence we can go on to predict.

But the right campaigning him already as a terrible President is as stupid as the left campaigning him as a savior to this point. Probably a reason why the Independents continue increasing every election year. They see such ridiculous argument from both sides and roll their eyes at how absurd they sound.

I actually had come to the conclusion that he was going to be more like Bill Clinton (more conservative than liberals wanted). But, so far, he has chosen to fulfill every liberal dream he can. Many of the actions he has taken or is planning to take have failed everytime they have been tried before.

Hopefully, he will change course and come to the middle from the socialist left.
