"We were in a dark theater and all of a sudden they turned on the lights and the coaches ripped off their shirts," Ambles said with a laugh."It was like in the army and it got crunk up in there. Some of the players that were in there did some chants. It got crunk."

Only when the moon is full...

Didn't Orgeron do this when he got to Ole Miss?

And now he is on the staff there. I wonder whose idea this was.

Yup. A parent of a UGA player said on UGASports that his son saw something similar of Ed O at Ole Miss

Said it was funny and interesting but a lot of the recruits afterwards thought it was a little weird and compared to other schools....unprofessional

I am sure some will eat it up as 18-year-olds but I figure a good bit will be turned off when they go to other schools and have the coaches talk sensibly to them

Didn't the basketball coach show up to a women's game in body paint?

Yeah, but I think that was him just having fun and to show support for the women's team. I think that was a bit different than roiding out in front of a bunch of recruits.

Yea, the UT stint was a good one with Summit and Pearl. Gave UT women's basketball some national pub and was a good stint to get the UT community together for both programs. I thought it was a smart move that gave UT some good press for days

Well, I don't necessarily agree that UT women's ball needs any national press when them and UConn are basically the two teams that you think of when considering the sport. But at the time I thought Pearl was an idiot, but the good kind of idiot. When you ball it all together with the football staff, now I just wonder.

UT women and UConn women are the face of womens basketball but neither get that much national attention such as Sportscenter stories, etc.... The Summit/Pearl story had them on PTI, Sportscenter, and other ESPN shows for days.
