Just wanted to add a couple of thoughts from going to the game with my 10 year old son. I've been attending Auburn games since 1976 and have never seen Auburn fans more jacked up for a game than this one. It started when we got to the airport and noticed how many were heading out. We wondered how many there would be in Arizona. More in Chicago and on the plane. Everywhere we went in Phoenix there were Auburn fans ready to give you a "WAR EAGLE".

As we're driving into the blue parking we saw Barkley standing on a street corner...not sure what he was looking for. :roflol:

All the AU family was so great to my son, telling him he would remember this his whole life. He now repeats that line all the time!! When Byrum kicked the field goal, he bursts into tears sobbing uncontrollably. I ask him what's wrong and can barely hear him say "Nothing...I'm just happy!!"

Tuesday we drove up to the Grand Canyon since we were so close. Apparently a lot of other folks had the same idea as there were Auburn folks everywhere - my guess is enough to line Tiger Walk. Really great fun.

Thanks to all the family for making this such a great game, but also for making this such a great memory for us.

My dad has been going to Auburn games since 1964 and said that if he never saw another one in his life, he wouldn't be disappointed. He said there is never going to be a better Auburn game for him than the one in Arizona, and that was literally the first time in my 31 years I have seen him cry.

I am glad I went, and the fact that my wife sent me even though she was 34.5 weeks pregnant makes me love her that much more. FWIW, she did not go into labor during the game, although she has witnesses stating that she should have, as much jumping and screaming as she was doing! :cheer::au:

We flew from Pensacola, changing planes in Houston. On that 2nd plane, we sat across the aisle from a guy bringing his 10-12 year old son. I remembered thinking that this was the first Auburn game I'd been to (other than A-day) with my dad since I was about that age.

For four hours on Monday, the Auburn Tigers were half of the center of the world, at least that's how we felt. I couldn't have been more thrilled to share that with my father, who embodies in himself a true Auburn man.

Couldn't have said it better, I went with my 9yr old son. This was his first game ever, since we live in Michigan. We had a great time that will be a memory for a lifetime.

One of the greatest experience's of my life....the whole atmosphere was electric....it was great being with so many Auburn people....the only complaint I had was the stadium ran out of speciality NC cups before the game begin...one interesting remark I heard at Westville, the shopping/restaurants center by the stadium on Sunday, "I tried to tell them (I'm sure he meant the businesses and shop owners), that the Auburn people would come, and now they have arrived."...even those who didn't make the trip, the Auburn spirit was felt by all...plus it was great having Carnell on the flight back to Orlando....of course he was in 1st class, but Urban Meyer was in 2nd class, as good as he was as a coach, he will always know he never could beat Auburn.....War Eagle....

And we promptly drank them dry of beer. :drink9:

Two nights in a row, Sunday and Monday, the bars were out of beer...guess they weren't really prepared after all :big:
