Whats the news on him? I've been out of the loop the last two days sick and cant find anything on if he's staying for his senior yr. Anybody??

Thats awesome! I think that's the best thing for him, and for the AU Family!! Guy is so under rated. This will be the yr the dumb ass bias media shows notice now! Thanks Texas!!

Unless he has declared and they decided not to publicize it, he is staying. The deadline to declare was yesterday

I can't wait to see Darvin FINALLY get the respect he deserves, IMHO he was the most underrated receiver in the SEC this year (as far as the media and announcers are concerned). If you are going to metion Julio, Alshon Jeffery, and AJ Green you have to put Adams in that sentence and they never did all year.

Most underrated this year and last year. I hope he's misunderestimated next year. ;)

True. Adams is a really clutch receiver and doesn't get all the media hype reserved for the AJ Greens & Whoolio's of the conference.

Rivals is reporting DA will forgo his senior season and enter the Draft.

Are they backing things up since declaration day was on a Saturday? I was under the impression that yesterday was the day to go or not. :blink:

Well considering he had to by yesterday and all other reports are saying he didnt.. Its no secret on who leaves for the draft and I can not find anything at all saying he is. and will not pay for someone elses word on it. Until it comes on espn,cbs,fox,auburntigers.com,auburnundercover,etc then I'm not convinced. If he did, it'd be all over all those sites and in the newspapers here in the state and well its not.

I'm thinking we will have a pretty good offense coming back next year. We will have two offensive linemen with experience (A.J. Green and Mosley), a field full of very good receivers (Adams, Blake, and Reed), and a well stocked back field (Dyer and McCalebb). All this leaves us with 3 questionable players on the o-line and the quarterback. I also have a feeling we will rely on the defense a lot more next year. If our defense gets better, I like our chances next year for at least 10 wins. Anyone else with me?

For whatever it's worth, if you type "darvin adams" in twitter there are a lot of tweets refering to him leaving and none saying he's staying. If he goes, best of luck to him, he will do great in the pros and he has kids to think about. He'll be missed but he gave us plenty of memories to remember him by.

Best of luck to Darvin Adams...i am pretty sure he declared to support his family (he has 3 children). He isnt going to be a top guy but i hope he does well in the combines and work outs and really improves his stock...i know he will catch on and make some team really happy to get such a steal! I'd love to see him catching passes from Drew Brees next year!!!

It would be really great to see Cam throwing TD passes to Darvin, now that would be fun to watch

Now that would be worth yelling about. Like when Washington got Campbell and Rogers in 2005.

Somebody I'd love to see in the backfield on that Newton & Adams team would be LaMichael James. It surely looked like he and Cam were getting really tight at the Heisman thing.

In case anybody knows offhand, which NFL team has the most ex-AU players from the same class? And who has the oldest active ex-AU player?
