Fox Sports is seriously anti Auburn

Well, if they said Auburn would have won a playoff it would only say the BCS got it right. These "what if" pieces are just trying to blow the system up. Which I'm fine with.

LOL what a joke, I would like to see those 1001 simulations. TCU played 3 teams in the top 30 Auburn played 4 in the top 10. Wisconsin should have run the ball on every play against TCU instead they tried to get cute and lost they were out coached (of course they wouldn't do this but they did get out of their game plan not sure why)

In Sagarin's final rankings TCU is ranked 2 behind Auburn but is almost 10 points below Auburn.

In the end doesn't really matter and there should have been a strong push for a playoff after 2004

I don't think 30 days of prep had as much to do with our Defensive success, it helped sure but shouldn't be the reason we did so well on D.

Whats also really funny is I ran the "simulation" about 10 or so times matching Oregon vs Auburn on a neutral field. I think Auburn won twice.

I'll take reality over a simulation any day.

This came from Foxsports? If they say "Auburn was the best" they don't have a story. Their own Thayer Evans showed Foxsports.com the way to increase website hits. Put something negative up about Auburn and it's hot news.

The best thing we can do is not click on another one of their links unless or until they fire Evans and clean up their cheap-shot act.

Given the two teams' relative strength of schedule, any simulation that shows TCU would win has been manipulated to get that result. We already know that Foxsports.com is not concerned with the truth.

Ok so TCU beats a Big 10 co-champion in Wisconsin barely. Didn't the SEC destroy the Big 10???? And didn't we go undefeated in the SEC? Enough said. TCU is full of smaller speed players. Sound familiar? If so it's because we played the same type team in Oregon only Oregon is better. TCU would have gotten pushed around even worse than Oregon did. I believe we proved our point on the field. As far as I'm concerned, they can take their simulations and stick it here ----> :moon:

ESPN showed simulations throughout the year on Gameday saying that Auburn had something like a 1-2% chance of winning it all. Just goes to show these types of things are completely worthless.

Beginning of the year Vegas had us at 50-1

Actually I think the simulations are done by whatifsports.com foxsports just has some deal with them and posts it? May not be accurate but I've always enjoyed doing the sim matchup for the college teams. http://whatifsports.com/ncaafb/

Didn't Fox Sports lose the BCS bowl series to ESPN? So Fox Sports is a loser commenting on a winner (Auburn)???

Exactly. They have no intention of cleaning up their cheap shot act. It's the only thing they're good at. Why would Foxsports.com be concerned with the truth when Fox News isn't?
